In a heartwarming demonstration of faith in action, on April 29, 2025, All Saints’ Cathedral Kampala donated textbooks worth Five Million One Hundred Thousand Shillings (5.1M) to Kiwuliriza Primary School under the theme Transforming Community Through Education.

The handover ceremony was presided over by The Rt. Rev. Jackson Frederick Baalwa, Assistant Bishop of the Diocese of Kampala, who commended the Cathedral for its continued investment in community development through education.

“This generous act is a true reflection of the Gospel lived out of the four walls of the Cathedral. Education rooted in faith builds not only knowledge, but also character. We are grateful to All Saints’ Cathedral for their commitment to holistic transformation,” said Bishop Baalwa.

The initiative, part of the Cathedral’s Compassion Ministry outreach during the recently concluded Lent  season, was coordinated by the Home Cell Ministry led by Rev. Paulson Tumutegyereize and Mrs. Hope Rutebemberwa the Chairperson for the ministry alongside the Compassion Ministry under Rev. Apuyo Walter and Ms. Flavia Nahabwe the Chairperson. The donation aims to support academic growth and spiritual development in one of the Diocese of Kampala’s key Primary Schools.

In addition to the academic textbooks, the school also received Dream Wave Curriculum books, designed to nurture discipleship and spiritual formation among learners.

Teachers and students at Kiwuliriza Primary School welcomed the donation with excitement and gratitude, describing it as timely and transformative.

This initiative underscores All Saints’ Cathedral Kampala’s commitment to empowering communities through practical ministry, demonstrating that compassion and service are essential expressions of the Christian faith.
