Karis Ministry Christmas Celebration Welcomes 20 New Believers

Ntinda Kampala—-Karis Ministry held its annual Christmas Party at St. Luke’s COU Ntinda on Tuesday 09/12/2025 with remarkable joy, fellowship and gratitude to God who continues to make all things beautiful.

The celebration brought together families, ministry partners and friends from linked churches to thank God for His faithfulness throughout the year.

The Guest Preacher was Rev Canon Sam Tumwesigye, former Vicar of St. Peter’s Church of Uganda Naguru, who preached from Luke 10:30–37 (the Good Samaritan), encouraging families to show compassion and love to their neighbours, just as God has shown mercy through Karis Ministry.

Present at the celebration were the Diocesan Secretary, Rev Dr. Henry Majwala, the Diocesan Treasurer, Mrs. Sarah Munezero Duhimbaze, along with several Diocesan Secretariat staff and Clergy from the linked Churches.

This year’s celebration included gift packs for every family as well as a special card presented in the form of a handkerchief to all the guests, expressing warmth and appreciation. The day was also filled with presentations from churches through songs, skits and poems.

A highlight of the celebration was when over 20 children and parents gave their lives to Christ, a moment of great joy.

Karis Ministry committed to give each one a Bible in their preferred language, and encouraged them to get actively involved in church for nurturing and discipleship. Each family also received a 2026 devotional booklet for the new year.

Karis Ministry extended heartfelt gratitude to its friends and partners in the United Kingdom, whose generous support made this celebration possible.

Glory to God in the highest.
